Physical Therapist On-Call

Evaluate and Treat

• Evaluate individuals and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy to improve strength, balance, mobility, coordination, and functional independence
• Design and monitor home exercise programs and mobility interventions
• Train direct care staff on safe transfers, gait techniques, and therapy recommendations

Collaborate

• Collaborate with PTAs, rehabilitation staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Complete timely documentation, progress notes, and treatment reports
• Participate in care planning, discharge planning, family education, and team meetings

Equipment Monitoring and Recommendations

• Monitor therapy equipment
• Recommend adaptive equipment or mobility devices as needed

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience working with adults with neurological disabilities or traumatic brain injuries (TBI)
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Physical Therapist license
• Membership with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)

Preferred

• Experience with adults with neurological disabilities or traumatic brain injuries (TBI)

Pay and Schedule

Competitive pay: $50/hour
