Physical Therapist - Millard (Full-Time)

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist at OrthoNebraska, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse population with musculoskeletal conditions. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and implementing individualized treatment plans to restore function, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life. You will work closely with the medical team—including physicians, physical therapy assistants, and ancillary staff—to coordinate care for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care and customer service.
• Establish goals and treatment plans in collaboration with the patient, family members, and healthcare team.
• Provide treatment services to restore, maintain, or improve patient functions.
• Promote and advance the hospital’s vision through department initiatives and community outreach.
• Develop and enhance the vision of the department with an emphasis on growth and program development.
• Promote collaboration with referring physicians.
• Offer clinical instruction to physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students.
• Collaborate with others using good listening skills, honest and respectful communication, and consensus-building.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved program for physical therapy (required).
• Fully licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of Nebraska and/or Iowa (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Advanced clinical certification preferred.
• Any orthopedic experience as a Physical Therapist (required).

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE). Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Located at the Millard clinic.

Physical Requirements

This position is classified as Medium Work, requiring the exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Must be able to pass a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug testing. Any job offer is contingent upon successful completion of these requirements and obtaining active licensures.
