Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Physical Therapist, you play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, restore mobility, and rebuild confidence following illness, injury, or surgery. You'll work closely with physicians and the care team to assess each patient's needs and create personalized therapy plans.

Evaluations and Treatment

  • Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of outcomes
  • Monitor progress, refine therapy plans, and educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association accredited school with a BS, MS, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
  • Maintain an active Physical Therapy license in the State of Colorado
  • Current certification in BLS for HealthCare Providers (in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines)
  • Completion of student clinical rotation or work experience in at least one of the following settings: acute care hospital, long-term acute care facility, skilled nursing facility, and/or acute rehabilitation setting
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
