About the role
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for an acute PRN position to assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. The PT will provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers and supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
- VA License.
- BLS certification.

- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
