Physical Therapist - Inpatient - PRN

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments.
• Establish, revise and evaluate plans of care.
• Perform physical therapy interventions utilizing standard techniques appropriate for the patient’s condition.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants, students, and other support caregivers.

Requirements

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree or certificate from an accredited Physical Therapy Program. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Preferred: Experience in a clinical area.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.

Skills

• Sensitivity to patients dealing with pain.
• Ability to build strong relationships with patients and their families.
• Unconditional support and reassurance.

Benefits

Flexible hours, including weekend shifts between 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m., with a minimum of two weekend shifts per month. Caregivers may also work weekday shifts as needed.

Pay

Pay Range: Minimum hourly $50.00, Maximum hourly $50.00.

Schedule

This is a regular PRN position with caregivers working weekend days.
