Role Overview: A Physical Therapist specializing in patient rehabilitation, movement assessment, and therapeutic interventions. Collaborates with a team to deliver hands-on care, patient education, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult populations. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients using a variety of therapeutic techniques to restore physical function and address developmental disorders.Oversee comprehensive rehabilitation programs that promote physical, psychosocial, and environmental well-being.Coordinate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams to meet discharge goals and ensure continuity of care.Advocate for patients and promote self-determination by optimizing resource utilization.Perform assessments and treatments for pediatric patients from birth to 18 years, with flexibility to float to adult units as needed.Interpret data, understand regulations, and utilize basic computer skills. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree required; Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred.Current New Mexico Physical Therapy License or provisional/temporary license accepted.Less than one year of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply.BLS certification at hire.
