Physical Therapist - Inpatient

About the role

Join a dynamic physical therapy team providing orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Developing, revising, and evaluating personalized care plans involving patients and families
• Performing therapy interventions using standard techniques
• Providing patient and staff education based on assessed needs
• Ensuring continuity of care through discharge planning, home instructions, and follow-up recommendations
• Overseeing activities of support personnel, including assistants and students
• Maintaining thorough documentation of patient responses and interventions
• Adhering to safety protocols and performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or related field for licensure
• No prior experience required
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in applicable states
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment
• Physical stamina for constant standing, lifting, and movement
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills

Physical requirements

• Frequent walking, reaching, gripping, and data entry
• Occasional lifting, bending, kneeling, and patient handling
• Use of vision, hearing, and speech for effective care
