About the role
Join a dynamic physical therapy team providing orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting initial and ongoing patient assessments
- Developing, revising, and evaluating personalized care plans involving patients and families
- Performing therapy interventions using standard techniques
- Providing patient and staff education based on assessed needs
- Ensuring continuity of care through discharge planning, home instructions, and follow-up recommendations
- Overseeing activities of support personnel, including assistants and students
- Maintaining thorough documentation of patient responses and interventions
- Adhering to safety protocols and performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or related field for licensure
- No prior experience required
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in applicable states
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment
- Physical stamina for constant standing, lifting, and movement
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
Physical requirements
- Frequent walking, reaching, gripping, and data entry
- Occasional lifting, bending, kneeling, and patient handling
- Use of vision, hearing, and speech for effective care
