Role Summary As a Physical Therapist, you will enhance patient quality of life through hands-on care, education, and prescribed movement. You will evaluate and treat patients of all ages, including pediatrics, using a variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical and developmental disorders. The role involves coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams, promoting patient independence, and advocating for patients' needs. You will oversee comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored to individual well-being and discharge goals, while ensuring compliance with setting regulations. Responsibilities Interpret data and apply detailed physical therapy knowledge and interventions.Evaluate and treat patients across inpatient and emergency settings, addressing motor development, strength, balance, gait, and other functional aspects.Coordinate with care teams, communicate effectively, and promote patient self-determination.Possess basic computer skills and understanding of relevant regulations.May float to adult units if needed and work with patients from birth through older adults. Qualifications & Skills Less than one year of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply.Bachelor’s degree required; Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred.NM Physical Therapy license and BLS certification required.
