About the Role
This is a contingent/PRN position that will work on the Medical Surgical Acute Care team. The employee filling this position will be scheduled on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with diseases, injuries, disorders, and disabilities to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance, using physical modalities and exercise as prescribed by a physician.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or basic MS or DPT degree
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Program and Clinical Internship
- Prior Acute Care experience – 1 year minimum
- Demonstrated proficiency in patient treatment
- Possession of a current State license to practice physical therapy in Michigan
Qualifications
- Master's or DPT degree in physical therapy (desired)
Schedule
Schedule may include both weekends and weekdays.
Modes of work for this position (hybrid, mobile/remote) are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually and are subject to change.
