Physical Therapist II

About the role

A full-time Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy evaluations, develop treatment plans, and participate in team care coordination.
• Provide patient and family education and training.
• Document treatments according to departmental guidelines.
• Initiate discharge planning and recommend necessary equipment.
• Participate in continuing education and provide staff inservice training.
• Mentor and supervise lower-level staff and support personnel.
• Act as a resource for guidance and ensure compliance with all responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum one year of experience.
• FIM certification in rehab settings.
• CPR certification.

Physical Demands & Environment

• Heavy physical effort and manual skills.
• Exposure to potentially dirty or noisy environments.
• May exert up to 50 lbs. of force.
