About the role
The Physical Therapist is responsible for developing and implementing medically prescribed physical therapy programs aimed at restoring function, preventing disability, and helping patients achieve optimal performance while managing their limitations.
Responsibilities
- Administer diagnostic tests and evaluations to assess mobility disorders and impairments.
- Educate and supervise graduate students, clinical fellows, or residents; contribute to innovative patient care programs; serve as a resource for clinicians.
- Analyze diagnostic and therapeutic results to set patient goals, modify treatments, and ensure continuity of care.
- Apply current techniques to provide quality rehabilitative services, organizing care based on patient needs.
- Engage in outreach activities, participate in community health events, and collaborate on developing new clinical programs.
- Participate in departmental meetings, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program with a bachelor's degree.
- Current North Carolina licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Successful completion of supervised clinical internship.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
