Responsibilities

• Patient evaluation and assessment
• Development and administration of a treatment plan
• Documentation and communication with physicians and other referral sources
• Handling and administration of medications according to legal guidelines
• Clinical guidance to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Working with various healthcare team members to assure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program (minimum education)
• Excellent customer service skills (minimum experience)
• California licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure as a PT by the Physical Therapy Board of the California State Board of Health Professions (minimum license)
• BLS required
• Annual 2 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH
• Annual 4 hours of Orthopedic Education required
