Physical Therapist I - Full Time - Days - 8hr ICH

About the Role

Physical Therapists provide high quality, comprehensive and patient-centered Physical Therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and disabilities. Responsibilities include patient evaluation and assessment, development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with physicians and other referral sources, handling and administration of medications according to legal guidelines, and clinical guidance to licensed and non-licensed personnel. Physical Therapists work with various healthcare team members to assure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Patient evaluation and assessment
• Development and administration of a treatment plan
• Documentation and communication with physicians and other referral sources
• Handling and administration of medications according to legal guidelines
• Clinical guidance to licensed and non-licensed personnel

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• California licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure as a PT by the Physical Therapy Board of the California State Board of Health Professions
• BLS certification
• Annual 2 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH
• Annual 4 hours of Orthopedic Education required
• Excellent customer service skills

Sunday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay

Pay Range $47.19 - $73.14 per hour
