Physical Therapist I (Full-Time)

Responsibilities

• Performs all functions associated with the evaluation of patients for all age groups within the department's responsibility.
• Performs all functions associated with the execution of therapeutic treatment for all age groups within the department's responsibility.
• Completes all documentation required within the regarded timeline according to department.
• Identifies the needs of the patient population served and modifies and delivers care that is specific to those needs (i.e., age, culture, language, hearing and/or visually impaired, etc.).
• Communicates with the patient, parent and/or primary caregiver(s) at their level (developmental/age, educational, literacy, etc.).
• Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy school.
• Minimum of 0 -2 years` experience.
• Specific only to the Physical Therapist I in the Pediatric/Institute for Child Development (ICD): Minimum of 2 or more years of previous pediatric experience, preferably in a medical and or possibly outpatient pediatric clinical or school setting.
• A strong pediatric clinical affiliation will also be considered.
• Physical Therapist License.
• BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
