Physical Therapist - Full Time/Part Time

About the role

We’re looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team at a non-profit outpatient retirement and life community in Vero Beach, FL. You will support independent living and assisted living populations with occasional float to skilled care.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents in outpatient settings, including in-home appointments on campus when applicable
• Float to skilled nursing care when needed
• Provide specialized on-site training during paid work hours
• Option to provide concurrent or group treatments based on personal preference
• Contribute to the development of clinical programming and systems
• Follow residents across the continuum of care including inpatient, home health, outpatient, and fitness services

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school approved by the APTA
• Active Florida physical therapy license required to start the position
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
• Comfort working with older adult populations in outpatient independent living and assisted living
• Flexibility to float to skilled nursing when needed
• Open to new graduates

Pay

Full-time salary range noted for reference: compensation varies by experience and skill level. Part-time hourly rates vary by experience and skill level. $2,000 sign-on bonus. 50% paid at six months and 50% paid at one year.

Schedule

No mandated group treatment. Option to provide concurrent or group treatments if clinician prefers.
