Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school approved by the APTA
  • Active Florida physical therapy license required to start the position
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
  • Comfort working with older adult populations in outpatient independent living and assisted living
  • Flexibility to float to skilled nursing when needed
  • Open to new graduates

Facility and Role Details

  • Facility type: Non-profit outpatient retirement / life community with two clinic locations in the region
  • Opportunity to treat in-home appointments on campus when applicable; minimal travel between appointments
  • No mandated group treatment. Option to provide concurrent or group treatments if clinician prefers
  • Specialized on-site training provided during paid work hours. Some training eligible for CEUs
  • New graduates are eligible and will receive training and mentorship

Compensation & Incentives

  • Sign on Bonus!
  • Part-time hourly rates vary by experience and skill level
  • $2,000 sign-on bonus. 50% paid at six months and 50% paid at one year
  • Open to relocation candidates
  • Student loan forgiveness may be available after 10 years due to non-profit status
