Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school approved by the APTA
- Active Florida physical therapy license required to start the position
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Comfort working with older adult populations in outpatient independent living and assisted living
- Flexibility to float to skilled nursing when needed
- Open to new graduates
Facility and Role Details
- Facility type: Non-profit outpatient retirement / life community with two clinic locations in the region
- Opportunity to treat in-home appointments on campus when applicable; minimal travel between appointments
- No mandated group treatment. Option to provide concurrent or group treatments if clinician prefers
- Specialized on-site training provided during paid work hours. Some training eligible for CEUs
- New graduates are eligible and will receive training and mentorship
Compensation & Incentives
- Sign on Bonus!
- Part-time hourly rates vary by experience and skill level
- $2,000 sign-on bonus. 50% paid at six months and 50% paid at one year
- Open to relocation candidates
- Student loan forgiveness may be available after 10 years due to non-profit status
