Role Overview

A physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury. Services are delivered across the care continuum, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Treatment Planning & Care: Develops and adjusts treatment plans, selects appropriate activities, and educates patients and families. Provides discharge instructions and referrals as needed.
• Patient Assessment: Collaborates with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans, incorporating patient and family input.
• Documentation: Records evaluations, treatment sessions, education, and discharge details following departmental standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Licenses and certifications: PT license, BLS certification.
• Skills: Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, basic computer proficiency.
