Physical Therapist - Full-Time
Role Overview
Provides skilled physical therapy services in an outpatient setting, focusing on orthopedic, sports medicine, and neurologic patients. Responsibilities include developing personalized treatment plans, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Delegates tasks to assistants and students, ensuring appropriate interventions and documentation in line with departmental policies. Performs assessments, reassessments, and consultations to support patient recovery and functional improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (PT); Master's Degree preferred
- Current Physical Therapist License
- No prior experience required, though supervision experience is not necessary
Key Duties
- Establish and adjust treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment
- Educate and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams, making referral recommendations as needed
- Delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring competency of assistants and students
- Complete accurate documentation of services provided
