Physical Therapist Float - Outpatient

About the role

Float Physical Therapist supporting multiple outpatient locations, providing hands-on care, patient education, and treatment for varied patient populations.

Rotate between clinics in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and South Valley, delivering quality outpatient therapy with an additional differential pay for flexibility, while maintaining departmental standards and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, develop and reassess treatment plans to improve physical or developmental dysfunction.
• Educate patients and families on home programs and preventive measures.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Communicate with healthcare team members regarding patient progress.
• Participate in departmental policies, safety standards, and educational programs.
• Work collaboratively within a patient-focused outpatient rehab team, emphasizing mentorship and orientation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred.
• New Mexico Physical Therapy license required.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
