Location

Inpatient Riley Hospital - Downtown Indianapolis

Shift

Flat Rate PRN Day shift – mix of week and weekend requirements. 1 holiday weekend and 1 holiday day per year.

Requirements

• Requires a Doctoral Degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in physical therapy prior to 2016 (if foreign trained, must have educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA).
• Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a team member to provide supplemental coverage on weekends (and weekdays if needed) in a high acuity, fast-paced environment with varied diagnoses (orthopedics, trauma, general surgery, burns, complex care/developmental pediatrics, neurosurgery/neurology, etc.) serving patients aged 0 to 21+. The role involves restoring function, reducing pain, and preventing disability post-injury or illness. Responsibilities include supervising physical therapist assistants, support staff, and students, participating in related activities to support patient care, education, and department operations, and reaching maximum performance levels.
