Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program or equivalent.
• Active license by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations using standardized tools, observations, and student‑centered assessments aligned with Texas education standards.
• Share evaluation results with parents, educators, and district personnel, offering clear, actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team to design evidence‑based, individualized therapeutic interventions.
• Deliver direct therapy services or supervise licensed Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in implementing IEP goals.
• Collect, analyze, and document student progress data, maintaining detailed records for IEP reviews and service planning.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent‑teacher conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions to advocate for students and enhance special education programs.

Pay

Competitive pay starting at $55.00 per hour, compensated for every minute worked.
