Physical Therapist (Exempt)

About the role

Physical Therapist responsible for assessing and developing individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients, with supervision of patients, rehabilitation technicians, and PT assistants in accordance with state practice acts.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments
• Deliver comprehensive therapy
• Ensure care aligns with organizational standards, mission, and values
• Conduct assessments and supervise therapy staff
• Provide patient-centered care while adhering to departmental policies and standards

Qualifications

• Current state license or temporary license in Physical Therapy
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• BLS certification required
• Prior experience with adult and geriatric care preferred

Skills & Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Perform physical tasks such as gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
