About the role
Kendal at Lexington is seeking a Director of Rehab to lead our therapy team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the physical therapy department
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the individual needs of residents
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide supervision and mentorship to physical therapy staff
- Stay updated on best practices and new technologies in physical therapy
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of resident progress
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care plans
Requirements
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- At least 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation facility
- Experience leading a physical therapy department
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Experience with patient advocacy and care coordination
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Pay
$80,000 - $100,000 annually based on experience and qualifications
