About the role
The Director of Therapy and Rehabilitation is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, and clinical oversight of all inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services in a Critical Access Hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership and operational management of rehabilitation services
- Ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory compliance
- Maintaining financial stewardship and staff development
- Fostering interdisciplinary collaboration
- Led physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and related support services
- May provide direct patient care as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field
- Current licensure to practice in the state of Arkansas
- At least 5 years of experience in rehabilitation therapy, including at least 3 years of supervisory experience
- Experience in critical access hospital settings preferred
