Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Primary Care Physical Therapist to service our patients throughout the PeeDee area. This role performs visits in homes, assisted living facilities (ALFs), independent living facilities (ILFs), clinics, and via Telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete health and psychosocial history and record findings in a systematic format.
• Perform complete physical assessments while providing health education and counseling.
• Arrange referrals to other members of the health team as needed and to community resources.
• Use appropriate reporting mechanisms as required by law, respect the dignity, confidentiality, and privacy of patients.
• Obtain appropriate authorization and consents for treatments.
• Review patient’s medical diagnosis, prognosis, procedures, and clinical course.
• Market and provide community education.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a Physical Therapy training program and certified through the therapy state board.
• Current license to practice in the state of South Carolina.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, and other locations.
• Ability to utilize electronic documentation.
• At least one year of experience in the specialty field you are applying for.
• Experience and/or interest in Pelvic Health preferred.

Schedule

Full-time, 8-hour position (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Monday through Friday.
