Yorkville Community Unit School District 115 is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide student services support.

About the Role

The District Physical Therapist provides therapy to students eligible for related services, designed to maximize their potential for learning in the school environment, to maximize their ability to function in all environments, and to educate them in how to maintain functional physical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy to students eligible for related services
• Maximizes students' potential for learning in the school environment
• Maximizes students' ability to function in all environments
• Educates students on maintaining functional physical skills

Requirements

• Degree in physical therapy from an accredited program
• Illinois Licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience with individuals with special needs preferred
• Previous experience with physical therapy in educational settings desirable

Qualifications

• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with students, families, team members, and others

Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques
• Ability to work effectively with students and families
