About the role

Xcelerate Physical Therapy is an outpatient physical therapy clinic specializing in orthopedics, sports medicine, and pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation. Our mission is to provide high-quality physical therapy through personalized care and education.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results
• Review physician referrals and patient medical records to determine necessary physical therapy treatment
• Provide direct patient care following established protocols and guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions for patients and caregivers
• Develop and implement a comprehensive physical therapy program based on evaluation findings
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program
• New or recent graduates encouraged to apply
• Current state of PA licensure as Physical Therapist (PT)
• CPR certification
• Basic PC skills and knowledge, including EMR system, database software, and MS Office
