About the Role
Tri-State Physical Therapy (TSPT), a division of Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, is seeking a full-time licensed Physical Therapist to join our well-established and expanding practice in our Fox Chapel office. Founded in 2005, TSPT provides a full range of musculoskeletal rehab, including physical, occupational, and hand therapy services, ensuring quality and comprehensive rehabilitative care for patients. With a high volume of referrals from orthopaedic surgeons at Tri-State Orthopaedics, therapists dedicate most of their time to patient care rather than marketing.
Therapists utilize state-of-the-art techniques and equipment, including Aquatic Therapy, Pilates, IASTM for soft tissue mobilization, and Sports Performance/Injury Prevention services, to provide individualized rehabilitation programs. The practice serves student athletes, injured workers, weekend warriors, and Medicare-aged seniors, fostering excellent outcomes and exceptional customer service in an enjoyable work environment.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to a full-time 40-hour weekly work schedule in the Fox Chapel office.
- Provide physical therapy services, including patient evaluations, follow-up treatment, and development of a plan of care, revising as necessary.
- Assist in returning patients to an optimum and productive level within their capabilities.
- Consult with physicians regarding patient progress and changes in treatment, assisting in evaluating the level of function to achieve maximum results.
- Perform skilled evidence-based procedures as ordered by the treating physician.
- Prepare daily clinical notes and routine progress reports.
- Instruct patients and family members on in-home exercise programs and activities of daily living.
- Supervise office Therapy Aides and ATCs.
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist (new graduates with strong orthopaedic knowledge and manual skills are welcome).
- Upbeat, dynamic, and outgoing individual excited about joining a busy and growing practice.
- EMR experience is a plus.
