About the Role
Physical Therapists at TOA play a pivotal role in patient care, creating and executing individualized treatment plans for a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgery, athletes, and individuals with chronic pain. The therapy team operates in a collaborative environment with support from technicians, schedulers, and working-managers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized care plans in alignment with provider expectations and patient needs.
- Educate patients on the root causes of their pain, mobility improvement, and injury prevention.
- Deliver individualized patient care with empathy, professionalism, and a focus on outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinic operations, ancillary services, and the extended therapy team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy treatments using TOA’s EHR/EMR systems.
- Strive to meet individual and organizational performance objectives, including patient outcomes, satisfaction, and productivity goals.
- Work across diverse patient demographics, including adults, athletes, adolescents, and geriatric populations.
- Demonstrate teamwork by assisting colleagues, including therapists and technicians, as needed.
Requirements
- Passion and demonstrated success in delivering exceptional therapy care.
- Experience collaborating with physicians, colleagues, and patients to create and execute effective treatment plans.
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations and organizational teams.
- Certification and licensure from the State of Tennessee (or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe for recent graduates).
