Physical Therapist

Principal Responsibilities

• Performs treatments and exercises to help patients recover from illnesses and injuries.
• Prescribes medications to relieve pain and increase mobility.
• Teaches patients exercise techniques to improve their health.
• Develops individualized treatment plans.
• Coaches patients and teaches them therapeutic massage to ease pain and promote healing.
• Maintains patient records by tracking goals.
• Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Affirms patient's progress and adjusts treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modifies services based on patient evaluation and referrals.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Communicates effectively with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
• Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy.
• Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Participates in facility and company required trainings, in-services, and conferences.
• Supervises and supports physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students.
• Adheres to company required policies and procedures and code of conduct.

• Active State Licensure

Pay

$40-60 PER HOUR + SIGN ON BONUS
