Physical Therapist
About the role
We Are Family at Birchwood Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare, and we're excited to welcome a talented Physical Therapist to our team! As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals in a supportive and patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' medical conditions, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions, and establish a treatment program with specific goals under the direction of the Physician.
- Provide direct patient care, set realistic and achievable goals, and document and record patients' conditions and educate patients and families.
- Collaborate with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.
Requirements
- Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy college or university.
- Must have a valid professional license and registration for the state of practice.
- Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not required.
