About the role

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a prior Military or Civilian Staff Physical Therapist at the Fairfax Ambulatory Care Clinic in Fairfax, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities.
• Restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function, wellness, fitness, and quality of life as it relates to neuromusculoskeletal health.
• Prevent the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries.
• Provide orthopedic clinical care for ages 15–64, including active-duty service members, retirees, and their family members.

Requirements

• Education: Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college of Physical Therapy.
• Preferred: Sports Medicine specialization.
• License: Must have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience within the preceding three (3) years.
• Certifications: Must have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Communication: Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members.
• Technical Skills: Must have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in basic word processing, data entry, and automated records.

$100K–$105K yearly

Schedule

Full-time or Part-time, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. No nights. 11 federal holidays off.
