Responsibilities
- Practice in a safe manner that minimizes risk to patients, self and others.
- Practice in areas of Outpatient and Transitional Care, ICU, Inpatient, and Home Health when needed.
- Perform patient evaluations and develop appropriate plans of care according to applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
- Establish with the patient appropriate and realistic short and long term functional goals.
- Select and use appropriate, accepted, standardized tests and outcome measures to assess the results of interventions administered.
- Communicate effectively and on a regular basis with patients, caregivers and fellow healthcare team members to promote optimal healthcare delivery and progress toward the patient’s functional goals.
- Complete documentation related to physical therapy practice in an appropriate, legible and timely manner that is consistent with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise assistive personnel and students in a manner that assures safe and efficient care.
- Attend meetings and serve on committees as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a nationally accredited school of physical therapy program.
- Maintain current State of Wyoming licensure through the State Board of Physical Therapy.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Central Registry, required.

- Ability to implement physical therapy treatments and rehabilitation activities.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in written form in English.
- Ability to assess and evaluate individuals for change in condition.
- Ability to plan and organize effectively.
