Physical Therapist

About the role

This part-time or full-time Physical Therapist position is located in Pocahontas, IA. Full-time benefits start at 30 hours per week. The setting includes both inpatient and outpatient, with some home health, within a community-based hospital. The hospital is planning to break ground in the Spring of 2027 for a new therapy department.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients
• Complete documentation
• Plan, market, and develop new programs
• Communicate with patients, patients' families, and physicians and staff
• Present in-services to fellow staff therapists
• Aid in the general operation of the department

Requirements

• Bachelor's (B.A., B.S.), Master’s degree (M.A., M.S.) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy
• Graduate of a certified physical therapy program
• Possess or be eligible for state licensure

Pay

Pay range: $36+/hour, depending on experience

Schedule

2 hours from Sioux City and Des Moines, Iowa
