Physical Therapist

Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our expanding team in our Edison office. We specialize in continuity of care for patients and are seeking motivated, compassionate candidates to advance their careers in a growing community.

About the role

As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients restore function, improve mobility, and relieve pain. This role is available full-time, part-time, or per diem.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and limitations through assessments and diagnostic tools.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall function.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and pain management techniques.
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize care.
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and best practices in therapy.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and improve clinic operations.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities, exercise prescription, and patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Pay

$54–57 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

40 hours per week.
