About the Role
This position involves providing skilled physical therapy services, including screening, testing, diagnosing, and treating injuries, diseases, and disabilities in accordance with professional standards. The role includes evaluating patients, developing care plans, and delivering patient-centered care while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services aligned with organizational values and standards.
- Maintain thorough documentation and accurate billing.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Manage all aspects of patient care and supervise support staff and students.
- Engage in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development and marketing strategies.
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist license and Basic Life Support certification.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient engagement skills.
- Experience with target patient populations and computer proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to read, communicate, and operate equipment effectively.
- Manual dexterity for handling equipment and supplies.
- Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients, and navigate busy environments.
