About the role

P4 Physical Therapy is looking for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to provide coverage in our outpatient clinic. If you are passionate about providing quality care and thrive in a supportive work environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results
  • Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the required physical therapy treatment
  • Provide direct patient care following established protocols and patient care guidelines
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
  • Oversee patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
  • Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and create a comprehensive program to attain those goals
  • Implement physical therapy treatment programs and provide essential physical therapy treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies
  • Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Requirements

  • Graduate (or soon to be) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist program
  • Current state license or the ability to begin the licensing process promptly
  • CPR certification
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience, including exercise, manual-based skills, and sports rehabilitation, is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities to manage clinic operations effectively
  • A self-starter mindset focused on growth and success
  • A passion for providing quality patient care with a positive and compassionate approach
