About the role

This role involves delivering high-quality physical therapy services within various care settings, focusing on patient independence and functional outcomes. The Physical Therapist evaluates patients, develops and implements treatment plans, supervises PTAs and Rehab Techs, and manages case progress. The position requires maintaining professional conduct, complying with regulations, and staying current with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Maximize patient function through direct and supervised therapy
• Provide clinical oversight and consultation to PTAs
• Supervise staff during treatments, ensuring effective resource use and skill development
• Develop and grow a robust physical therapy program
• Collaborate, pursue continuing education, and enhance clinical and leadership skills
• Maintain valid licensure and stay informed on healthcare regulations and industry trends
• Ensure care delivery aligns with billing, treatment guidelines, and expected outcomes
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality in compliance with state laws

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
