About the role
We are seeking a full-time, licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. This position evaluates, examines, treats, monitors, and provides ongoing assessment of patients; performs all necessary paperwork and reports; plans and develops new programs; maintains communication with patients, patient families, caregivers, physicians, and contract site staff; presents in-services; assists in general management of the department; and supervises therapy assistants and support staff.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, examine, treat, and monitor patients
- Perform ongoing assessments and necessary paperwork/reports
- Plan and develop new programs
- Maintain communication with patients, families, caregivers, physicians, and contract site staff
- Present in-services and assist in general department management
- Supervise therapy assistants and support staff
- Perform other diverse duties as requested or required
