About the role
Millennium Therapy is looking to add a Full-Time Physical Therapist to their staff in Burlington, IA for the Skilled Nursing setting.
Responsibilities
- Provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
- Supervises other licensed physical therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required.
- Participates in the clinical team process.
- Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.
- Involves in clinical program development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy and Professional Licensure in the state of hire; two years of clinical experience preferred.
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Utilizes effective time management skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Requirements
- Physical Therapist provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
- Supervises other licensed physical therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required. Some programs with two or more physical therapists/assistants may provide additional administrative duties as assigned.
- Participates in the clinical team process.

- Involves in clinical program development.
