Physical Therapist

PRN position at an outpatient physical-therapy clinic – pay rate $60.00/hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care: evaluations, assessments, and plan-of-care development in accordance with the State Physical Therapy Practice Act; supervise ancillary staff; complete medical charting.
• Perform lift/fit testing: conduct on-site essential-job-function assessments; design and supervise objective, unbiased tests of an individual’s ability to safely complete tasks with proper body mechanics.
• Handle administrative tasks: schedule patients and providers; copy, fax, and type documents; manage phone calls; process referrals.
• Manage medical records: ensure HIPAA-compliant confidentiality; obtain insurance authorizations; maintain filing systems.
• Maintain and clean the office: disinfect treatment tables; care for exercise and modality equipment; track and restock supplies.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current State PT license.
• Current CPR certification.

Schedule

PRN (as needed).

Pay

$60.00 per hour.
