Physical Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to join our growing team of clinicians. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care to children with special needs, guided by our core values of compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to children with developmental disabilities or delays.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nurses to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans based on each child’s unique needs.
• Document progress and communicate with families and referring physicians regularly.
• Adapt treatment methods to accommodate the diverse cultural backgrounds of our patients and their families.

Requirements

• Current Arkansas license as a Physical Therapist.
• One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

• Effective communication and professional demeanor with a wide range of individuals.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency in database, word processing, spreadsheet, and internet software.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret various documents and write routine reports.
• Ability to solve problems and work with multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

Education/Certification: Current Arkansas license as a Physical Therapist.

Experience/Knowledge: One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills/Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people; ability to work with children between the ages of birth to 6 who are at risk; strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy; basic computer skills including a working knowledge of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software; ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment; ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations.
