About the Libertyville Clinic

Responsibilities

  • Interprets physician orders, performs initial evaluations, and establishes treatment plans and functional goals
  • Upgrades and amends treatment goals as necessary during the episode of care
  • Provides written documentation on patient status to physicians per compliance guidelines
  • Determines appropriate discharge timeline and follow-up
  • Supervises Rehabilitation Technicians with patient care and administrative staff as needed
  • Documents all treatment in patient charts in a timely manner (initial evals, daily notes, progress notes, discharges, HEP)
  • Stays current with billing policies and demonstrates ethical billing practices
  • Maintains active state license by earning appropriate CEUs through outside courses and IBJI sponsored educational opportunities
  • Develops positive relationships with the physician teams at IBJI
  • Takes an active role in the patient medical team: office visits with physicians, contact with case managers, etc.
  • Participates in programs sponsored by IBJI: mentoring, clinical educator, special interest groups, community outreach

Requirements

  • Graduate from accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • New Grad Physical Therapists eligible to apply
  • Licensed or eligible to sit for boards in the state of Illinois
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Professional and effective writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift greater than 25 pounds
  • Demonstrates good understanding of proper body mechanics for lifting, pulling, pushing
  • Ability to stand and sit for sequences of time greater than 30 minutes
  • Ability to work on a computer for lengthy times during the day

Pay

$82,000 - $110,000
