Physical Therapist

About the Role

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for inpatient acute care.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Develop, revise, and evaluate personalized treatment plans involving patients and families.
• Administer therapy interventions using standard techniques.
• Provide education to patients, families, and staff based on assessed needs.
• Ensure continuity of care through discharge planning, home instructions, and follow-up recommendations.
• Oversee activities of support staff and students.
• Maintain proper documentation of patient responses and interventions.
• Work safely and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or related field for licensure.
• Licensure in applicable state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
• No prior experience required.

Physical Demands

• Constant standing.
• Frequent lifting (0-25 lbs), walking, reaching.
• Occasional heavier lifting (25-50 lbs), patient handling.
• Occasional movements like bending or climbing.
