About the role

Gifford Medical Center is seeking an experienced or new graduate Physical Therapist to work in their Sharon Health Center location.

Responsibilities

• Select evaluation methods appropriate to the diagnosis, age group and patients physical and emotional status and formulates appropriate treatment plans.
• Work as part of a team consisting of four physical therapists, an occupational therapist, athletic trainer and a physical therapy assistant.
• Pursue or develop specific skills in conjunction with the needs of the department.
• Show excellent communication skills, decision making abilities and attention to detail.
• Show strong time management skills and be an active team member.
• Show a strong orientation toward patient-centered treatment.

Requirements

• Current PT license in the State of Vermont required.
