Responsibilities
- Devise detailed treatment and care plans for each of the patients
- Ability to treat 1 patient per 45 minutes with exceptional quality of care
- Communicate and coordinate with patients' physicians to ensure a consistent and collaborative level of care
- Exercise independent judgment based on experience to implement effective treatment combinations
- Evaluate and report on patients' progress while maintaining accurate patient records
- Assist administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries
- Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations
- Complete at least 30 hours of continuing education every two years
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Professional PT experience with emphasis on sports injuries
- Valid Maryland Physical Therapist license
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
- Basic computer skills
- CPR and first aid certification required
Pay
$78,000 – $90,000 (based on experience)
