Physical Therapist

Mathis Rehab Centers, partnering with Newman Regional Health, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team in Council Grove, KS. Flexible options for full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules are available. This position works with both inpatients and outpatients and includes aquatics therapy.

About the Role

In partnership with Morris County Hospital, we serve the Council Grove, KS community and surrounding areas. As a Physical Therapist, you will guide patients through meaningful recovery journeys—helping them restore function, improve mobility, and regain quality of life. This role offers flexibility and autonomy to deliver high-quality care in our hospital setting. Qualified candidates may be eligible for travel stipends and student loan assistance, and new graduates are supported through a personalized mentorship program.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with individualized, evidence-based therapy plans
• Provide physical therapy services that promote recovery, mobility, and independence
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe and effective rehabilitation practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations and documentation standards
