Physical Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Urbandale office. The ideal candidate will provide rehabilitation care to help patients get back to their daily lives and activities, collaborate with physicians for comprehensive orthopedic care, and work alongside a supportive team.

About the Role

You will develop and plan physical therapy treatment for patients with injuries or musculoskeletal conditions. You will also assist in transporting, positioning, or holding patients as needed. This role requires being on your feet throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Develop and plan physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries or musculoskeletal conditions.
• Adhere to physician recommendations and protocols related to a patient's condition.
• Assist in transporting, positioning, or holding patients as necessary.

Requirements

• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Iowa (or be enrolled in a Physical Therapy program with the intention of obtaining licensure).
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate calmly and professionally with patients and physicians.
• Curiosity and a strong ability to listen actively, ask clarifying questions, and avoid interrupting patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Pass a criminal background check, federal background checks, education verification, reference checks, and an initial TB test.

PT Office Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 6pm; Friday 7am - 4pm
