Physical Therapist

About the role

Compass Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Physical Therapist to provide in-person care to patients in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities. The position is a 1099 contractor role located in Alhambra and Arcadia, CA, working in assisted living facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and individualized care plans focused on mobility, strength, balance, pain management, and quality of life
• Monitor patient progress, maintain clinical documentation, and collaborate with facility staff and the healthcare team

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted California Physical Therapist license
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Experience with geriatric, medically complex, or chronic-care patients preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation for in-person visits

Pay

$45–$50/hour

Schedule

Flexible schedule with availability needed of 30‑32 hours per week: Alhambra – 20 hours/week (2‑10 hour shifts or 4‑5 hour shifts, not on Fridays); Arcadia – 12 hours/week (2‑6 hour shifts, not on Mondays).
