Physical Therapist

About the Role

As our Physical Therapist, you will help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing so they can function at their best level, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life. You will perform initial evaluations, develop and update individualized plans of care, and provide a variety of direct treatments. You will consistently meet patient care productivity standards, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families, and promote a positive customer service environment.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong age-appropriate competency skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluation and assessment using critical judgement and clinical decision making.
• Accurately documents and interprets findings from evaluation and assessment.
• Coordinates objective test procedures, patient history, and subjective information.
• Understands the importance of physiologic and social information provided in the patient's record and its impact on treatment and expected outcomes.
• Provides ongoing evaluation and assessment.

Requirements

• Six-month internship as part of a Physical Therapy School Entry Level Master’s program or one-year internship as part of a DPT program.
• Two years of experience and demonstrated leadership to act as area supervisor or weekend supervisor.
• Active Arkansas Physical Therapist license upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification upon hire.
